Process Safety Management Foundations (PSMF) – Fundamental Process Safety Training

The “Blue Card”

Overview

Effective process safety management (PSM) is essential to prevent major accidents and protect people, assets and the environment. Process Safety Management Foundations (PSMF) is a two‑day programme that provides managers, supervisors and safety personnel with the fundamental knowledge and understanding of PSM principles across an organisation.
Delegates explore the identification, evaluation and prevention of accidents that can result from failures in equipment, processes or procedures. Delivered through presentations, case studies and group discussions, the course illustrates how to develop and monitor an effective process safety programme and aligns with the standards set by the Process Safety Management Competence Programme Board (PSMCPB).
