Thames Water Safety Passport – Training

The “Blue Card”

Overview

The Thames Water Safety Passport is a mandatory safety qualification for anyone who needs access to Thames Water operational sites.

This training prepares employees, contractors, and supply-chain partners to work safely within Thames Water environments by covering essential site hazards, environmental responsibilities, and behavioural expectations.

As a result, organisations can demonstrate compliance with Essential Standard 9 (Thames Water Safety Passport Training Requirements) and maintain accurate competency records within SkillGuard for Utilities.

Once delegates successfully complete the course, their certification is recorded in SkillGuard and becomes visible to site access systems before attending operational locations.

This course forms part of Thames Water’s competency framework under Thames Water’s Zero Compromise standards.

“Jon Wallis brings health and safety on Thames Water sites to life. Engaging and insightful. Involving everyone on the call to engage, add their thoughts. I observed an obvious shift in perception from people on the course from the start to the finish and this is testament to the delivery and content and personality Jon brings to the course. Would highly recommend this course. “
